21 Amazing Indie Games Shown at IOX
Indie developers and their games are the heart and soul of the gaming industry. Without them, we wouldn’t have as much passion, ingenuity, and creativity in the games that we play. As much as the indie scene has grown over the years, finding success as an indie developer remains a hard feat to accomplish.
It becomes even harder in a time of crisis when developers are not only worried about the success of their game, but also of their own wellbeing, and the wellbeing of your family and friends.
Seeing the difficult position many indie developers are in right now, IndieObscura, its parent company Greenlit Content, and top gaming website Shacknews, decided to help put together a digital direct event to help showcase indies of all scales, sizes, and genres.
Stepping in to provide additional assistance came HyperX and Asteri (Prima Games). IOX aired on April 11 at 3 p.m. (EST) on the Shacknews Twitch channel and received a wealth of positive viewership and feedback. We couldn’t be more proud!
If you caught the direct and want a recap of the games shown, or missed the direct and want to learn more about it, we thought it’d be helpful to put together a written feature to complement all the hardworking indie teams who contributed content, and the dedicated team who helped make IOX a reality behind the scenes.
To start off, here’s a recap of all the indie games and developers who participated in the IOX broadcast in alphabetical order.
